I came with friends during their first opening days and they were so sweet and kind. We were given an extra dessert on the house, and the food we did order was so amazing. The butter chicken platter with the naan was incredible. Other items we had: tandoori chicken, samosas, and the lassi! The interior was gorgeous and super clean, but if you don't want to sit down you can order from the front as well to go. We had an amazing time--come see for yourself!!!
The food was excellent, the best butter chicken sauce I think I've ever had. The food was out quick and the chairs were comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
If I could give it a 10/5 I would. I just finished my food and I’m already craving more. The butter chicken leaves you wanting more. The inside is beautiful with a wonderful ambiance. I can’t wait to come back here and try more food!
Maryland Tandoor is a gem!! The paneer pakora, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken bowl were phenomenal and perfectly spiced, while the garlic naan was the best we ever had –hot, fresh and fluffy. Manit was incredibly helpful, explaining the menu to a first-timer and guiding us to the perfect spice level. With generous portions and such friendly service and great ambiance we'll definitely be back for more!!
I am so happy that there's an affordable Indian restaurant in College Park! I felt very welcome when entering Maryland Tandoor and the food was very good. The employees were very kind and seemed to take care in ensuring that orders were correct. The price is excellent, especially for students and I would absolutely visit them again. I also appreciate how well my meal was packaged.
The HIGHLY anticipated Maryland Tandoor is finally opened, and about time. I came here with my friend first around lunch to check out the new restaurant and I really wanted try their coffee or chai and then I came back for dinner.
Great food, so full from healthy portions. Fast service, answered all questions about the menu to help us get the best bang for our buck. Very clean and plenty of seating, the students probably won’t takeover all the seats because there aren’t many logical outlets 🙏. Got half the order from the counter and then they made the lamb dish fresh.
great food, great service, with a beautiful atmosphere. i didn't give them 5 stars because the to go boxes were a bit small, but the food is delicious..
We ordered takeout from here and were pleasantly surprised. The saffron chicken tikka was tender (but had nice crispy edges) and was beautifully marinated. The dal makhani was buttery and very authentic. The butter chicken was a bit too sweet for me, but the palak paneer made up for it -- it was super soft, and the sauce was well-flavored without being too creamy. Overall, would absolutely order again!
This food is amazing. I walked in, was promptly greeted, and the employees were so kind. They are very knowledgeable about the menu and were quick to give great recommendations! I got the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Saffron Chicken Tikka. Both were amazing, but the Mango Lassi really stands out. It was sweet and savory, and it melts in your mouth. By far the best mango lassi in the College Park Area. Also, the Gulab Jamun was a good extra touch as dessert after. Definitely a College Park must try! I will be back again and again!
